Fortnite To Go Into Early Access Next Month

Jun 8, 2017 Jordan Coetsee

Finally!

Epic has announced that it’s upcoming third-person Action Building game, Fornite, will go into paid early access on July 25th.

Darren Sugg, Creative Director on Fortnite, said:

“Bringing Fortnite to life has been a true labor of love by a talented and dedicated team over many years. We’re excited to share the experience and start playing along with more gamers in Early Access this summer.”

Along with this announcement, the team released a new gameplay trailer, showcasing the core elements of this game: survive, build and loot.

Honestly, Fortnite looks like one of the better Co-op games we have out there – especially considering the tower defence mechanisms Epic has implemented. Personally I’m a huge fan of tower defense games, especially when you get to control a character in your brilliantly planned out maze. I remember punting hours and hours into Dungeon defender just because of the RPG elements they added into traditional TD.

Don’t know which version to pick? Epic games has detailed the choices, here.

Want to get a jumpstart on your Homebase? How about some exclusive loot or an awesome hero?

Fortnite’s Early Access Season is almost here and you can reserve your spot with one of the Fortnite Founder’s Packs. Pre-Order now to get a four-day head start beginning on July 21 along with the Storm Master Weapon Pack as an added bonus.
