Tarsier Studios Announce Three-Part DLC Expansion for Little Nightmares; Chapter One to Release in July

June 7, 2017 by Jordan Biazzo

Are you excited to return to the Maw?

Tarsier Studios have announced that their recently released platformer, Little Nightmares, will be receiving new DLC.

The DLC expansion is called ‘Secrets of the Maw’ and will once again take players back to the dreaded depths of the Maw. However, this time around players will play as the Runaway Kid, and not Six.

Check out the official description of the DLC down below:

The new LITTLE NIGHTMARES DLC introduces The Runaway Kid, another prisoner looking for a way out of the dark depths of The Maw, an eerie, twisted vessel filled with disturbing and dangerous enemies who are eager to devour their next victim. During his journey, The Runaway Kid will visit unseen areas of the Maw in three different chapters: The Depths, The Hideway, and a last secret location, which offers new challenges to overcome and an alternative perspective on Six’s adventures.

In the first chapter, The Depths, The Runaway Kid explores the foul and murky sewers as he tries to escape from an insidious threat that lurks underwater. In November, players will be taken to The Hideway, a machine-themed section where the Nomes reside. The third and final chapter will be releasing in January 2018, and will ultimately determine the fate of The Runaway Kid.

Little Nightmares; Secrets of the Maw is a three-part series, starting with chapter one releasing sometime in July for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Chapter 2 – The Hideaway – will release in November and will take players to a machine-themed section where the Nomes reside. And finally, the third and final chapter of The Runaway Kid’s tale will release in January of 2018, where players will see the fate of the character.

Tarsier Studios and Bandai Namco also managed to release some screenshots of chapter one, check it out down below:
