Overwatch Will Be Getting a One-Year Anniversary Event Next Week



Blizzard has revealed that Overwatch will be getting a new seasonal event for the game’s successful one-year anniversary. As of right now,  there are no firm details for the new seasonal event, besides it will begin on May 23. Blizzard also released a new video that shows off some of Overwatch’s biggest moments of the year. Check out the video down below


This announcement comes alongside the news that Overwatch will also be getting a digital Game of The Year edition that will come with extra bonus loot. Check out what comes in this new edition of the game down below.

Content included in Overwatch: Game of The Year Edition: 

  • 10 Loot Boxes
  • Vintage Blackwatch Reyes, Strike-Commander Morrison, Overgrown Bastion, Security Chief Phara, and Slipstream Tracer skins.
  • Tracer for Heroes of the Storm
  • Baby Winston pet for Heroes of the Storm
  • Mercy’s wings for Diablo III
  • Tracer, Reaper, Pharah, Winston, Bastion, and Soldier: 76, portraits for StarCraft II
  • Overwatch-themed card back for Hearthstone
