Microsoft has Shameless New Way to Keep You Playing Halo 4

November 9, 2012 by Jeanine Celestin-Greer

Play Halo forever, get a few Microsoft points

Microsoft is really going all out on marketing Halo 4–and on keeping you playing it. As we already mentioned a week ago, Microsoft is figuring out new ways to pay you to play.

But unlike the Amex deal, this one isn't quite so hot. Do you 35 hours to spend play Halo 4 this month? You can get 100 MS points for it. How about 70? Get 300 points. You do nothing but sit and play video games all day? Get 140 hours and get 600 points.

The promotion ends on November 30th, so you better get on it if you want the points. Oh and the points are capped at 10 million, so it is first come, first serve. Guess you’re going to have to forgo sleep to be sure. Maybe bathroom breaks too.

After you get your hard earned points, you’ll only need about 200 more to get most Xbox Live Arcade games! Good try Microsoft.
