Square Enix Picks Up Heroes & Generals, Will Help Launch The Game

November 8, 2012 by Julie Horup

Reto-Moto to work together with Hapti.co.

Heroes & Generals already got green-lighted on Steam Greenlight as part of the first ten games on the platform, and now there's even more good news for the Danish dev Reto-Moto.

Square Enix has announced that they picked up the game and will help publish it internationally.

More specifically it's Hapti.co, who's going to help with the launch. Hapti.co specialises in browser-based games and are currently working on Gameglobe and Square Enix's platform, CORE®ONLINE.

"We'll continue to run a community-driven development [environment], and the main difference to how we've run things so far is that Square Enix will be handling marketing and PR. Oh, and we'll also be able to deliver a lot more content and expand the game a lot faster," said Reto-Moto (via Massively).
