Bethesda has now made it official! The Elder Scrolls V: Skryim's next expansion is indeed Dragonborn. Of course, this really shouldn't come as a surprise as files pertaining to it were unearthed by modders a month ago.
Same with the previous expansions, Dragonborn will be out first on the Xbox 360 for 1600 Microsoft Points or around $20 in real-life currency on December 4.
Here's the official trailer straight from Bethesda.
In the files uncovered during Skyrim's latest PC update, it's hinted that players will travel to Solstheim, which is a snowy locale east of Skyrim. Additionally, this expansion will include new armor varieties and even an option to ride dragons as the trailer shows..how badass is that, no?
Sadly, it seems PS3 Skyrim players will be left out in the dark again. I mean, seeing as Dawnguard and Hearthfire still isn't available for the platform, I highly doubt Dragonborn will break that vicious cycle, no?
So, dust off your Skyrim discs and get ready for December 4…Dragonborn is but a month away.
