Konami has released a trailer for Halloween that depicts some of the 3DS Castlevania game, Mirror of Fate. Though they called it a Halloween trailer, it isn't specifically about the holiday, so don't get your hopes up too much–though it was released in the spirit of Halloween.
The trailer mainly focuses on the game's combat, gameplay (noting "extreme platforming") and shows what the interactivity of the touch screen can do. They tout it as an "epic 20 hour adventure" with "intense whip combat" and note that the graphics will be an impressive achievement of what the 3DS can do. Might be a fun play. Castlevania Lord of Shadow is a reboot of the series that was first seen on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It’s sequel is Mirror of Fate and takes place 25 years after Lords of Shadow. This handheld game will set up the events for the direct sequel to Lords of Shadow, Lords of Shadow 2. Mirror of Fate will be released sometime in 2013.
