The Call of Duty: Black Ops II soundtrack is headed for a release on iTunes and other digital marketplaces, Activision has announced.
The original score is written by Jack Wall, the guy who made the brilliant soundtracks for Mass Effect 1 + 2, while the game's "brooding theme", as Activision calls it, is made by Trent Reznor (the guy from Nine Inch Nails).
"The story surrounding the single player campaign was of paramount importance to the developers at Treyarch. I wanted to do my part to give that story as much emotinal depth as I could with the music. I think the fans will really appreciate how deep the story is in Call of Duty: Black Ops II," said Jack Wall.
The soundtrack releases on the same day as Black Ops II, which is – in case anyone forgot – November 13.
