Super Mario Level Up! Board Game Unveiled

There have been several video game franchise IPs to have received a board game adaptation. The latest one to be released later this year is featuring Super Mario and the rest of the iconic cast of characters and villains.

Made under USAopoly, Super Mario Level Up! Board Game is described as a quick game in which players attempt to bring their character up from the different level of stages and reach the Mushroom Kingdom.

“Join Mario and his pals as you advance them up the Mushroom Kingdom while challenging other players to gather the most coins and reach the castle at the top! Unlock Mushrooms, Super Stars, and Flowers hidden under “? Blocks” to help you level up your team. But beware of Goombas, Koopa Shells, “Bullet Bill” as well as other players trying to sabotage your chances of being the Kingdom’s top player!”

While we don’t have the rules as to how the game is played quite yet, it seems to be similar to how Mario Party’s board game works. Essentially, players will have various power up cards and specialty items that can be used against other players or help you get towards the end goal.

As mentioned, a number of the iconic cast from Super Mario is making an appearance such as Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Peach, Yoshi, Wario, and Waluigi.

Currently, the game will be launching soon though there are no specific dates attached to the board game yet. We do, however, know that the game will cost players $19.95 and will only be available for sale within the United States and Canada.
