When Star Wars Battlefront, the reboot of course, first launched it was met with plenty of criticism from gamers online. One of the biggest gripes that gamers had with the title was a lack of a campaign mode. EA and DICE have been working hard to answer these issues with their sequel, Star Wars: Battlefront 2.
We were supposed to see the first trailer for Star Wars: Battlefront 2 during the Star Wars Celebration event which happens on April 15, 2017, although it seems that the trailer has officially leaked online giving players an advanced view of what’s to come.
As stated in the past, the upcoming sequel will have a campaign mode which the trailer calls as “the untold soldier story” but it’s not directly stated just where the story takes place directly in the franchise.
Multiplayer gameplay is still a major focus for the Star Wars: Battlefront 2 video game and with the upcoming title, gamers can battle across all the available eras within the Star Wars franchise. Some of the characters that made a cameo appearance include Darth Maul, Yoda, Rey, and Kylo Ren.
Likewise, the trailer makes mention that gamers who pre-order the game will receive Star Wars: The Last Jedi Heroes, which is likely a DLC add-on that will relate to the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi film.
Unfortunately, there’s no release date attached to the video game quite yet, though for now, let us know what you think of the leaked trailer which you can view above.
