Good news for everyone planning to pick up the new Animal Crossing for 3DS: DLC won't cost you a dime.
The news – courtesy of Kotuka – was confirmed by Satoru Iwata during a financial Q&A, where Iwata explained that paid content could have consequences for the gameplay. He even went as far as calling it "unwholesome". Seems like Iwata isn't keen on the whole paid DLC thing, then.
"That sort of element [paid DLC] is absolutely not being added," Iwata said.
There's no Western release date set for Animal Crossing 3DS yet, but it is expected sometime in 2013.
