No PSVR Support For DiRT 4 During Launch

April 11, 2017 by Jordan Coetsee

Fans will have to wait a bit before seeing DiRT 4 on The PSVR.

Codemasters have confirmed that the highly anticipated rally thrill-ride title DiRT 4 will, unfortunately, not support PlayStation VR at launch.

“DiRT 4 won’t be PSVR ready at launch, as until then we’re focusing on making the base game the best it can be,” Codemasters confirmed via Sony’s PlayStation Access. “However, it’s definitely something we’re considering once that’s done. Don’t worry – we’ll keep you posted on any updates on that front!”

Seems like Codemasters are more focused on the game having a strong and supported launch than branching out by testing out new tech. I think this is a better idea than rushing and having shoddy VR support, patience is a virtue, right?
