The public beta for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale closes tomorrow (October 30th), but while you've still got time for a few more rounds – or if you just want to get ready for the game's launch on November 21rd – you can brush up on some basic tactics with this five-minute video from SuperBot Entertainment.
While the full game will presumably include some kind of tutorial, SuperBot has put up this video in an attempt to answer the 'tons of questions' from players of the beta.With footage showing the six characters playable in the beta – Kratos, Colonel Radec, Sweet Tooth, Sly Cooper, PaRappa the Rapper, and (one of the only two female characters listed in the final launch character roster) Fat Princess – you'll be shown how to attack, build up your AP to perform supers, use items, and more.
If you are signed up for the beta you might not feel like wasting five minutes of the time you've got left straining to hear the soft-spoken narrator over the music in this vid, but it's worth it for the few nuggets hidden among the more simple advice. Did you know that pressing left or right while blocking performs a dodge that renders your character temporarily invulnerable? No, me neither, but I guess now I'll have the advantage come November 23rd.
