Death Stranding is one video game title we can’t wait to hear more information about as most of us are still very much in the dark as to what we can expect. At the helm of it all is the famed developer, Hideo Kojima and because he is working in his own studio, the creator is not limited creatively making it all that much more exciting to see how his first video game IP from Kojima Productions will turn out.
In the past few weeks, there has been some discussion regarding animation though to be more specific, the lack of decent animation when it came to BioWare’s latest release, Mass Effect: Andromeda. Luckily, it doesn’t appear that Death Stranding will leave gamers disappointed visually.
The creation of Death Stranding has plenty of bells and whistles being used. Hiring a cast of well-known actors to portray certain characters within the game, their performance will certainly shine through. Recently, a small video was uploaded online that showcased Mads Mikkelsen capturing his facial reaction for a scene in Death Stranding.
There is plenty of technology that went into capturing the facial expression and as you can clearly see, the smallest expressions were captured giving the video game a more theatrical experience. While this video has us even more intrigued about the upcoming title, we’re hoping that E3 this year will be a platform that Hideo Kojima can use to his advantage and showcase more details regarding his latest IP.
As it stands right now, Death Stranding is still in development for the PlayStation 4 console.
