CherryPop Games and Mastertronic have put together Pool Nation for the Xbox Live, where the game is set to launch on October 31.
Developed by CherryPop Games, Pool Nation is designed to “bring the thrill of perfectly-pitched pool to your living room.” In other words, you’ll be able to play pool on your controller without needing the space for a big ole pool table. Granted, it’s no substitute for real pool, but it's certainly the closest thing to it. Who says you need a real table to enjoy the game?
Thankfully, the game’s designed to offer a realistic experience with precision controls, and a whole bunch of online and offline modes so you can play with your friends.
"Xbox LIVE is the perfect platform for Pool Nation." Said Andrew Parsons of Mastertronic. "We wanted to provide fans with a whole range of opportunities to humiliate their friends."
"It's basically psychological warfare but with shinier balls. Endurance isn't for the faint of heart," Parsons said.
Pool Nation is out on October 31.
