One Person Allegedly Already in Line for Wii U

October 22, 2012 by Jeanine Celestin-Greer

One guy claims he’s already started the line

You may have heard of Isaiah-Triforce Johnson (yes that's his real name) as being the first person to buy all the most recent Nintendo hardware. The picture above is him purchasing a 3DS from Reggie Fils-Aime. Seriously.

Johnson's making news again by claiming that he's already camping out at the Nintendo World Store in midtown Manhattan. He even tweeted a pic of the store, though it's kind of hard to imagine how you can wait in line when there is no line?

He's gotten quite a bit of negative backlash from commenters, with people calling him attention-seeking and wondering why he isn't doing something more productive with his time. Johnson does own Empire Arcadia and sponsors players to go to competitions according to a comment on Kotaku but it’s unclear what he does for a living, if he really has time to do this and if he is really going to do it. It's fun to think about though.

Are you going to wait in line for the Wii U?
