Irrational Games has just announced Bioshock Infinite: Industrial Revolution. The game is being made available to anyone who preorders Bioshock Infinite ahead of its release and will allow players who play this puzzle game to earn in-game rewards for the main game before it comes out.
As a pre-order bonus to Bioshock Infinite, Industrial Revolution is described to contain "nearly 60 puzzles to play" and places you in the role of a factory worker within the sky-city of Columbia, the fictional location in which the game is set.
Players will have to solve increasingly difficult puzzles while learning about the warring factions in the game, including the Vox Populi and the Founders, while earning in-game rewards for their participation.
The game has been designed to work in a browser and is available only to those who pre-order the title, so be sure to book your copy.
The game was developed by Lazy 8 Studios in collaboration with Irrational Games, and isn't the only spinoff based on the Bioshock Infinite setting. A boardgame based on Bioshock Infinite is also in the works.
Bioshock Infinite is set for release in February 2013 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
