Xbox 360 systems and bundles Receive $50 Price Cut

October 15, 2012 by Jeanine Celestin-Greer

Another price cut?

Microsoft is getting in the price cut game in the U.S. Following both their price cut in Australia and the slight price cut for the Nintendo Wii, a $50 drop for Xbox 360 hardware bundles has become apparent in the US.

Major US retailers like Amazon, Walmart and GameStop have reduced the prices of their 250 GB and 4GB Kinect bundles. The 250GB Kinect bundles are now at $349, down from $399 ad the 4GB Kinect bundles and some 250GB systems without connect have been cut down to $249, down from $299. At least one limited edition consoles is also in the sale, since Amazon and GameStop have offered the Halo 4 250GB for $349, down from $399.

According to GamesIndustry, the price cuts have been applied to different promotional packages like Kinect ASports, DisneyLand Adventures, Dance Central 2 and Tiger Worrds PGA Tour '13.

It’s a good time to pick up one of the current gen consoles. One has to wonder if we’ll be seeing a price cut from Sony in the near future, possibly for the upcoming Holiday season.
