5 of the Most Popular Games on Roblox for 2025

December 31, 2025 by Jasper Honea

2025 is ending, but Roblox will be ready to see another year. Let’s look at 5 most popular games on this hit platform for the year.

Roblox, released to the public in 2006, combining the terms “Robot” and “Blocks” together, is a platform that has grown to tremendous numbers in the almost 20 years it’s been released. The company behind the online site has proudly flaunted that they have over 90 million players on the platform daily in the year 2025. To put that in perspective, that’s comparable to the entire population of Germany! Each year has their most popular games, so as 2025 ends, we want to explore 5 of the most popular games on Roblox for the year. Let’s take a look.

  1. Steal a Brainrot

This one may surprise no one, as the term Brainrot has been popular for younger generations this year for sure. For Roblox specifically, brainrot is referring to typically loud, overstimulating, colorful, and quick pacing, to name a few. With a little over a million active users, what’s the game about?

It’s simple, according to the game’s description. Step one: buy a Brainrot. Step two: steal brainrots from other players. Step three: make money! But it goes much deeper than that. Strategy, scams, and unfortunately cheating. With a game this popular, it goes without saying that a wide range of players are attracted to the stealing possibilities this game centers itself around.

Whether you love it or hate it, Steal a Brainrot holds the top spot in popularity, even winning in the category Best Creative Direction at the 2025 Roblox Innovation Awards.

  1. 99 Nights in the Forest

by Grandma’s Favourite Games

Survive, defend, find missing children, keep your campfire lit; you’ve got a load on your shoulders from the get-go. The game’s initial and main threat is The Deer, a large deer-like creature standing on hind legs. Invincible to all damage, its main goal is to kill the player and can only be combatted by stunning it with a flashlight. But surviving 99 nights won’t be so simple.

The true main objective of the game is to rescue 4 missing children. Dino Kid, Kraken Kid, Squid Kid, and Koala Kid. Each kid you rescue adds days that you have “survived” after each night. Rescuing more children equals less days you actually have to survive. As well, you’re encouraged to explore the map, encounter more creatures and biomes, and obtain weapons to help defend against enemies. Lots to do, and lots of days to figure everything out. Good luck.

  1. Brookhaven RP

originally by Wolfpaq, now handled by Voldex

Source [4]

Roblox players’ chosen role-playing/ life simulator. Brookhaven is an open world, sandbox game where players can choose to have and customize from a variety of homes, including houses, apartments, motel rooms, or even an estate. Along with that, there’s over 100 different vehicles players can choose from to drive around the world. Tailor your role-playing experience by yourself or with others, have roommates if you’d like! Possibilities of what you can accomplish goes only as far as your imagination limits.

  1. Blox Fruits

by Gamer Robot Inc

Source [5]

Travel the seas, choose to side with Marines or Pirates, become the strongest Blox Fruit User! Obtain the game’s main mechanic, Blox Fruits, to gain unique abilities depending on the fruit. Currently the game offers 41 blox fruit types that players can either pick up hourly, purchase from an in-game Dealer, or various other ways players can discover while playing. With these abilities, battle enemies, fight other irl players in PVP, and travel the game’s seas.

Players can also have a variety of weapons to aid in their journey. There are 3 different seas available to explore, with islands to visit in each area. Dive in, and immerse yourself in even more aspects the game has to offer than what’s possible to list here.

  1. Rivals

by Nosniy Games

Source [6]

Last in the list, but not to be seen as the least, Rivals is fast-paced, where players can fight other players in a range of PVP shooting arenas. With 49 different weapons that one can choose from (in those are your primary weapon, secondary weapon, melee, and utility), these can be unlocked by doing quests, game modes, or can be purchased using in-game currency or, of course, Robuxs. Pretty simple. If you’re looking for a fun shooter but only have time for a couple of matches, Rivals is a great easy choice to pick up.

There are many great games that are released monthly on this hit platform. Are any of these on your personal top list? Maybe you’ve seen these being recommended to you but haven’t yet checked them out. We hope giving a small glimpse into each of these piques your interest to where you might pick one up!
