I probably sound a bit like a broken record here but when I’m going through a game, that last boss fight already has high expectations for me personally. I want there to be a lengthy fight testing my abilities and attributes that I’ve learned and practiced throughout my game progression, but that’s not what we got in Fable II. When we finally get a chance to go against Lucien, we’re presented with a one hit kill since his powers were drained. Furthermore, you can sit a listen through his long-winded speech or just hit him once and end the game. Furthermore, if you wait too long another character shoots him taking the final boss kill away from you.
