Evolution Of PlayStation Hardware (PS1 to PS4)

October 24, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

Here are the biggest changes the PlayStation has seen over generations.

The PlayStation brand from Sony has been around for over two decades. It spans over four generations of hardware and it has some pretty interesting origins. As the brainchild of Ken Kutaragi, the console was originally a project between Nintendo and Sony to create a CD-ROM for the Super Famicom.
