8. Just Cause 3
Just Cause 3 is the third entry into Rico Rodriguez's stunt and action-filled world of mayhem. Developed by Avalanche Studios, which is also the developer of the Mad Max game featured on this list, Just Cause 3 is set to take place in a fictional Mediterranean island and homeland to Rico's mother. It's a place that has been beset by a tyrannical dictator bent on taking over the world, and only one man—that's Rico—can stop his plans for global conquest. Rico plans to stop him by doing what he does best, which is blowing stuff up.
True to the series, players will be able to traverse through a vast open world environment and blow tons of stuff up in the game. Coupled with an upgraded grappling hook, current-generation graphics and improved physics, Just Cause 3 is everything we've ever wanted out of an open-world game.
