Asylum Demon
The first Demon the Undead Champion encounters in the Northern Undead Asylum. This is the first boss encounter in the game, and is completely optiona. You can kill it, but it isn’t required — if you die, you’ll be able to leave the Northern Undead Asylum.
Later, return to the Northern Undead Asylum and fight an identical boss called the Stray Demon.
- How To Return To The Northern Undead Asylum: Ride the lift you’ll unlock to the Firelink Shrine and step out onto the ruins. Walk along the top of the ruins to find a nest. Select to “curl into a ball” at the nest, and you’ll be carried to the Asylum.
The Stray Demon drops a guaranteed Titanite Slab.
