Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire is a direct sequel to Pillars of Eternity. The video game will take place within Eora where players step into the role of a Watcher. Our protagonist has the ability to look into other character’s souls along with reading their memories or past lives.
Now that the god of light and rebirth has awoken, players will find that the god has destroyed his stronghold while also leaving him near death. Within the game, our Watcher protagonist seeks to find the god Eothas.
Luckily, along with the journey, players can request the aid of companions. If you’re looking to fill up your party with characters then you’ve come to the right place. In this guide, we’ll showcase where to find all the companions available within the game.
Aloth

You can find Aloth within the Engwithan Digsite. You can also open the doors at the bottom of the Engwithan Digsite before the Defiant is fixed. He will be among the other characters hiding from Eothas.
Eder

Eder is located within the start of the game.
Maia Rua

Maia Rua is located within the Kahanga Palace. After you visit the adra pillar in Hosonga, the game will request your character to visit with the queen in Neketaka. After the meeting with the queen, two spies from two trading companies will try to board your ship. Maia will be the Rautaian spy from the Royal Deadfire Company.

Pallegina will be located within the Kahanga Palace. Much like the Maia Rua companion, Pallegina will be the other spy who attempts to board your ship.

Serafen will be located during a ship encounter. After you fix the Defiant and begin to sail to meet with the queen at Neketaka, a Principi ship will meet with you in which you will meet Serafen.
Tekehu

Tekehu will be located at the Watershaper’s Guild which is in the Periki’s Outlook section of Neketaka.
Xoti

Fassina
