The plot of much of Insomniac's latest shooter, Fuse, is told in intel briefings that you'll find as collectible items scattered throughout the entirety of the game.
These special files reveal secrets behind the plot, and the involvement of Overstrike—the main cast of characters. They go into no small amount of detail about the history of each individual team member and provide players with a reason to give a damn about what's going on in the game outside of the cinematic and voiced-over narrative.
Finding all of the pieces of intel in Fuse will provide the player with "The Inspector" achievement or trophy, and put players one step closer towards the 100% rating.
