Dead Cells is a roguelike-Metroidvania hybrid developed by Motion Twin. Like any good roguelike game it revolves around a variety of weapons each with their own distinctive feel and purpose.

Melee Weapons
Assassin’s Dagger
- Description: Inflicts a critical blow when you backstab your enemies. “Small, but deadly if you know where to stick it.”

- Description: Carefully balanced to allow consecutive rapid strikes.

Blood Sword
- Description: Causes bleeding.

Broad Sword

Cursed Sword

Dagger of the Sadistic Cult
- Description: Inflicts a critical blow if the victim is bleeding, burning or poisoned. “Turn the knife…”

Frantic Sword
- Description: Inflicts a critical blow when you’re below 50% health.

Hayabusa Boots
- Description: The last hit inflicts area damage and kicks enemies backward.

Impaler
- Description: Inflicts a critical blow when enemies are up against a wall.

- Description: Shoots multiple bolts at once. “For short range bloodshed.”

Hunter’s Longbow
- Description: Inflicts a critical blow if you strike from far away. “Slow, but devastating at long range.”

Ice Bow
- Description: Freezes enemies struck by your arrows.
- Blueprint: Dropped by Undead Archers.

Infantry Bow
- Description: Inflicts a critical blow when you strike at close range. “A bow designed for close combat.”

Quick Bow
- Description: Inflicts a critical hit if the target has 2 or more arrows in its body. “Speed at the detriment of accuracy.”

Repeater Crossbow
- Description: Fires powerful bursts of bolts.
- Blueprint: Dropped by The Tracker.

Throwing Knife
- Description: Causes bleeding for 2 seconds. The attack automatically targets the closest enemy.

Valmont’s Whip
- Description: Ignores shields and deals a critical hit when striking at maximum range.

Wrenching Whip
- Description: Ignores shields. Wrenches victims towards you.

Assault Shield
- Description: Causes you to charge forward while blocking.

Blood Shield
- Description: Blocks attacks and causes bleeding for 3 seconds on all nearby enemies.

Force Shield
- Description: Triggers a force field when you parry.

Good ol’ Wooden Shield
- Description: Like any old shield, it allows you to block attacks and temporarily protects you if you take damage.

Greed Shield
- Description: Blocks attacks and shakes out any loose gold from your enemy’s teeth (once per enemy). Also transforms enemy arrows into gold.

Shove Shield
- Description: Blocks attacks and violently shoves blocked enemies backwards.

Spiked Shield
- Description: Blocks attacks and inflicts heavy damage.

- Description: Blocks attacks and stuns the attacker.
