Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Stats and Operation: Patriot Detailed by BioWare

September 19, 2012 by Alex Co

Heads up, Mass Effect 3 multiplayer fans, Operation: Patriot will be your weekly multiplayer challenge for Mass Effect 3! Also, stats for multiplayer has been released, too!

BioWare has detailed the next multiplayer challenge for Mass Effect 3 multiplayer fans this coming weekend. Called "Operation: Patriot," it looks to be a lot easier to complete than the other challenges has put out.

As always, there are squad and allied goals for the player to aim for and you can see what they are below.

Squad Goal: Extraction on any difficulty with all squad members as the same non-human race. Requires 2 or more players in squad.

Allied Goal: Kill 600,000 Atlas Mechs on any map at any difficulty.

Special Circumstances: Escort Drones travel speed reduced.

Again, as usual, achieving the squad goal will net you a Commendation Pack, while reaching the allied goal will give all participating players a Victory Pack.

In addition to the challenge, BioWare has also announced that the Argus Assault Rifle — previously only available in single-player — can be unlocked for multiplayer, too. According to BioWare, the Argus is "a high-powered rifle favored by senior C-sec officers. An excellent close-range weapon, its bursts of fire ensure ammunition conservation during lengthy conflicts. Other law-enforcement agencies across the galaxy are adopting the Argus as their standard rifle, as much for its intimidation factor as its suppression power."

Here's an image of the gun, just in case you're curious.

Lastly, BioWare has also revealed the latest multiplayer stats for Mass Effect 3's multiplayer. Did you know that to date, players have spent 1.02 trillion credits in the mode? Also of note, the highest N7 rating for PC is over 13,000? Now, that's a lot of time spent on the mode, huh?

Read the other details on ME3's stats on the image provided by BioWare.

Operation: Patriot will start on September 21, and will end on September 23. As always, don't forget to turn on the player feedback in the game's options to make sure you'll be able to participate in the multiplayer weekend challenge.

Anyone here still playing Mass  Effect 3's multiplayer or should BioWare concentrate more on single-player content?
