Obsidian’s Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire has successfully crossed the three million dollar mark since the crowd-funding campaign launched on Fig. The figure currently stands at $3,098,361 with three days remaining. After 24 hours, the campaign pulled an impressive 1.1 million dollars which is a reflection of how enthusiastic fans must be about the Pillars of Eternity sequel.
Design director Josh Sawyer stated that the next step in this campaign is “Relationships”, explained in the video below.
The next stretch-goal will be at 3.25 million dollars where the game will include four “Sidekicks” who will join your character throughout the game.
