Capcom has now released the demo for Resident Evil 6 on both the PlayStation Network and on Xbox LIVE.
Fans curious to know how Capcom's sixth major entry in the Resident Evil franchise can now download the demo to get a taste of the gameplay. However, for Xbox fans who already played the demo from pre-ordering Dragon's Dogma will be disappointed to know that it's the same version being offered now.
For those who haven't had a taste yet, you will need a manageable 850MB in order to download the trial version. This download will let you play snippets of all three of the major character's scenarios — Leon, Chris and Jake's. Of course, seeing as this is a demo, some features might not be representative of the final game.
If you're from the US and you still can't see it on the PlayStation Store, try logging in using an Asian PSN log-in and download it there. You can then switch back to your US PSN account and play it from there. If you don't have an Asian PSN log-in, well, I suggest you make one as it's free.
Have you tried the demo yet? Is it a throwback to the Resident Evil games of yore or is too action-ey for your blood?
Resident Evil 6 is slated to hit the Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 2.
