Activision – One of the “Worlds Most Admired Companies”

February 17, 2017 by Jordan Coetsee

According to a list posted by Fortune magazine.

Okay, there is no denying the success of Activision. I mean, Destiny, Overwatch, Crash Bandicoot, Call of Duty, and World of Warcraft!

The producer of these massive titles caught the eye of business magazine Fortune who included Activision in their list of the “Worlds Most Admired Companies” for 2017.

Moving up three spots from last years no. 6, Activision now sits at no. 3 behind Disney and Netflix in the entertainment section.

But who decides which companies are to be admired? What is the adjudication process?

Well, the results come from a survey that asked 3800 business executives, analysts, directors, and experts to rate companies on nine different criteria, from “investment value and quality of management and products to social responsibility and ability to attract talent.”

The full details on the methodology can be found here.
