Rockstar Games is steadily at work with the upcoming release of Red Dead Redemption 2. Unfortunately, not much information has been released online as to what gamers can expect from the video game. There is currently only one trailer available for the game at the moment, but we’ll likely know more about the title during E3 of this year.

With that said, there are of course plenty of PC gamers hoping that the upcoming title will be released on their platform of choice. When Rockstar released Red Dead Redemption the title only launched for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, completely avoiding the PC platform altogether.

There’s no indication on if the game will be releasing on the PC platform yet, but rumors are circulating that the game will likely see a release on the PC due to the recent Denuvo database leak. Earlier this month, Denuvo, which is a company that provides DRM protection for PC video games, had several files leaked online. These leaks showcased a list of developers that plan on using the anti-piracy software in their video games.

Within that list, it was revealed that Rockstar Games may be using the DRM protection in the future leaving plenty of gamers speculating that the game in question is Red Dead Redemption 2. While the game in questioned is not labeled, it’s becoming highly rumored that the developers are looking into a new DRM protection software outside of Steam’s DRM protection which could mean Red Dead Redemption 2 is being developed on PC as well.

This, of course, is all speculation right now and we’ll likely know more about Red Dead Redemption 2 during E3 of this year which is also noted to be the first E3 to allow general public in attendance.

Within Red Dead Redemption 2 players will follow the outlaw Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang as they flee the law in this upcoming installment of the gritty western.
