For some reason, Nintendo did not show off New Super Mario Bros. U (NSMBU) at its recently-concluded Wii U press conference. I have no idea why as the footage we see here looks fantastic.
The short two-minute trailer we see here is very reminiscent of Mario's old-school gameplay and that's not a bad thing. We get to see the different levels the game has to offer. There's water levels, ice levels and all the trappings you'd expect from a Mario platformer.
Additionally, the game will support multiplayer and will even have a Challenge Mode, too!
New Super Mario Bros. U is expected to be available day-and-date as the Wii U which is on November 18.
