Borderlands 2’s Skill Tree Builder Now Available on the Game’s Site

September 10, 2012 by Alex Co

Gearbox has implemented a cool new feature on Borderlands 2’s website for RPG fans who want to experiment with the characters’ skills ahead of the game’s release!

While Borderlands 2's release is just a week away, Gearbox has implemented a cool new feature on its website that will let players tinker with the character skills the game offers.

When you visit the official Borderlands 2 site, click on the "Characters" tab and you'll be brought to a landing page where you can see the game's roster of characters. Choose which one you like, and then click on the "Go to Skill Tree" tab to load that character's skill tree. Once there, you can look at each skill that character has to offer and even see which level a certain skill will be unlocked.

This is very useful for those customization nuts who want to know exactly how they'll map their experience points and see which skill fits their playstyle best. You can even share your skill tree build via Twitter or Facebook.

I'm warning you though, using this might make the wait for Borderlands 2 that much harder…at least it felt that way for me. I suggest giving it a go just to know where you'll initially be spending most of your skill points.

Borderlands 2 is set for release on September 18 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
