Ace Combat Is Coming to PC and Xbox One – No Longer a PS4 Exclusive

if you were amped about Ace Combat: Skies Unknown, but sad that you wouldn’t be able to play it because you don’t believe in ‘sub-human’ consoles, fear not for Ace Combat will be making an appearance on PC and Xbox One, announced by developer Bandai Namco.

We’re excited to announce our plans to bring the battle for air superiority in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown to Xbox One and Steam,” said Eric Hartness, Vice President of Marketing at Bandai Namco Entertainment America. “With over 20 years of franchise history, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown continues to deliver authentic yet accessible flight combat action to gamers around the world. This latest version of the game delivers amazing visuals and intense gameplay, all wrapped in a unique and compelling storyline. We look forward to seeing players suit up, strap in, and take their place as ace pilots.”

With regards to VR, there is no news if other headsets will be supported other than the PSVR.

This game will be the 7th in the series and by the looks of it, keeps selling to a smaller and smaller niche, so it only seems logically for Namco to extend it’s release to other consoles, sorry PS4 fans!
