During last weekend's PAX, Gearbox has officially announced the price and release date for Borderlands 2's fifth playable class, the Mechromancer.
This announcement was made by none other than Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford. So, just how much and when will this class be available? It will cost you $10 and will be out on October 16.
Yep, it's quite pricey, I know. However, if you don't want to fork over $10 for the class, you can still pre-order the game at participating retailers to be part of Borderlands 2's Premier Club to nab the class for free. Now, don't confuse this Premier Club from a Season Pass, alright? The Season Pass for Borderlands 2 will cost $30 and will grant you all four planned expansion packs scheduled for the game.
Have you pre-orderd the game yet? If not, are you willing to fork over $10 just to play a class in the game?
Borderlands 2 is set for release on September 18 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
Thanks, MP1ST
