Sony is offering a free game to those who decide to subscribe to PlayStation Plus for the year via the Asian PlayStation Store.
Customers can select to receive a digital version of either Infamous: Second Son or The Order 1886 when they purchase a 12-month membership to PlayStation’s online service, which will be delivered in the form of a redeemable promo code by March 16, 2017.
Players will be able to keep these games forever, compared to other games in the PlayStation Collection where players only have access to the games if they pay for the subscription.
It’s worth noting that PlayStation Plus subscriptions are region-locked to a certain extent, so users in North America or Europe hoping to snag the offer may be disappointed.
It will be interesting to see if Sony decides to launch similar promotions outside of Asia.
