Atlas Reactor Kicks Off Season 2 Today With Lots of New Content

Trion Worlds’ simultaneous turn-based battle arena game Atlas Reactor launches its second season today. This will bring a payload of new content to the game over a period of roughly ten weeks. However, a new freelancer and a new mode are available immediately. The game is also going completely free to play, so now players can experience everything that the game offers at no cost to them.

Players will also be able to purchase individual Freelancers with money or upgrade to a premium edition to get all Frelancers forever. Fans who purchased the game previously will be offered a special thank-you bundle containing loot matrices, in-game currency, an exclusive emblem, title and banner, and more.

The new Freelancer that arrives with season 2 is named Brynn the Skywarden. She has the ability to create cover wherever she is and punish her foes who underestimate her reach using her adjustable lance. Another new Freelancer is coming to the game later on in Season 2.

In addition, new modes debut with Season 2, with each of the five chapters comprising season 2, a new gameplay mode will be introduced, starting with the All-Random Mode that was introduced today. New loot, which includes dozens of new unique skins, emojis, overcons, ranked rewards, and more.

Season 2 also brings some updates, such as a revamped intro experience, which will better assist new players in becoming acquainted with the game’s mechanics and provide a more meaningful experience for prospective Freelancers.

Various balance changes have also been implemented for all Freelancers. In a new and improved Ranked System, which is open to all players, they will now progress through Ranks with a more predictable result of gains and losses after the end of each match. Players will no longer be able to drop Ranks but can drop tiers, and players who achieve Master Rank will enter a new leaderboard style system.
