Gears of War: Judgment to Include a New Multiplayer Mode

August 27, 2012 by Alex Co

People Can Fly is introducing a new "Free For All" multiplayer mode for Gears of War: Judgment.

With Halo 4 being Microsoft's "big gun" later this year, most of the burden for next year has fallen on Epic Games' upcoming prequel for Gears of War called Gears of War: Judgment.

While the story itself will focus on Baird and Cole, the game's trademarked multiplayer will also get a new gameplay mode. In the upcoming issue of the Official Xbox Magazine, the folks over at People Can Fly has unveiled a new multiplayer mode called Free For All. Other than the image above being teased and the magazine stating that it "blurs the line between friend and foe," no other info has been shared.

Of course, Free For All could simply mean it's deathmatch with no allies, but hopefully, it's more than that.

Aside from the new mode, the magazine will also reveal new plot details and a peak at one of the game's new weapons. This is all part of the magazine's November issue, which Gears of War: Judgment is the cover game.

Gears of War: Judgment is set for release on March 19, 2013.
