Wii U Details Coming on September 13

August 22, 2012 by Lana Polansky

Nintendo of America chief promises news that will “change the future of gaming.”

For those lamenting the fact that Nintendo didn’t opt to reveal very much at E3 about Wii U pricing or release date info, September 13 may be something to look forward to.

A New York City media event being held on that date is promised to reveal some pertinent information—perhaps even more than just its retail price or release date—about the console.

President of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime, is slated to oversee the conference, and has shed some of his enthusiasm already for what awaits at the event.

The event will illuminate, “more about how the Wii U will change the future of gaming and entertainment,” says Fils-Aime.

While we can’t really say if anyone should be quite so zealous about the conference, at the very least we can look forward to learning a little bit more about the unusual console, set for release this holiday season.
