According to some rumors that are circulating on the internet, Nickelodeon is working on an animated series dedicated to the characters of Nintendo. It was discussed on Nickelodeons official podcast, where it was referred to the work of a series dedicated to famous video games for decades but did not go into any specific details…
These are the words of Seibert: “We have a project now that we’re doing that needs to go unnamed, based on one of the most world famous video games of the last 30 years, that we’ve had in our shop for twelve years without being able to get it started. But there were great characters and a great story, and eventually we got it going.”
It’s a pretty vague statement I know, and without clear evidence, we won’t really know until we have an official announcement. According to rumors, it could either be a series dedicated to The Legend of Zelda or Mario, however, for now, all we can do is speculate…
