Yesterday the PS4 Demo for NieR: Automata an action RPG was released and it looks absolutely stunning on the PS4 Pro.
The video at the bottom of the post was captured at full 1080p, 60 FPS via an Elgato Game Capture HD60, and showcases clean action and smooth cinematic gameplay.
Of course, there will be a difference in image quality if you are playing NieR on a regular PS4 but it’s still as beautiful.
Although I am not just a big fan of the Anime Aesthetic the gameplay has me sold. Mainly because growing up I was such a huge Ratchet and Clank fan. In NieR the action looks very similar just a whole lot darker and obviously with a ‘realism’ touch compared to Ratchet and Clanks humorous approach. You’ll be strafe firing, getting up close and personal with enemies and finding crit spots for extra damage.
