Today at Gamescom, Sony showed off their new Killzone Mercenary trailer for the Vita. The live-action video does end up getting to some gameplay a few minutes in, but the production quality of the intro is very impressive. With a poor Vita showing at E3, it seems like Sony is making up for lost time at Gamescom, announcing titles left and right.
Being a mercenary is a funny thing. Your only objective is to retrieve a person, but these people insist on getting in the way. They practically plunged that knife into their own neck! Killzone Mercenary is putting players into the body of a gun-for-hire where the lines between good and evil are blurred and you are left in the middle firing your AK into the sky letting loose your battlecry. It's all very dramatic.
