Crysis 3’s Hunter Mode Offers Classic Predator-Style Action

August 14, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

The newly announced Hunter Mode will remind you of Predator.

Crysis 3 is set to be the best looking game on the market, but it's not going to rest its laurels upon how good it looks. In addition to an open world single player campaign and a variety of competitive multiplayer modes, the game is set to offer an all new mode called Hunter Mode.

In Hunter Mode, players take on the role of one of 14 Cell troopers who've been shot down in the middle of New York City and must stick together and survive long enough for Evac to arrive.

Players can also take on the role of one of two Nanosuit hunters to stalk and exterminate the poor bastards one by one—just like the Predator in the classic Arnold Schwarzenegger movie.

A new video showcasing the game's newly announced Hunter Mode was unveiled today at EA's presentation of the title at Gamescom.

Crysis 3 is set for release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in February 2013.
