Mass Effect Point-and-Click Adventure Game is in the Works

August 9, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

An old school point-and-click adventure game based on Mass Effect is in the works.

Finding Shepard

Last month, our very own Rowan Kaiser wrote that it'd be really cool to have a Mass Effect adventure game. Well, it looks like the universe has heard his plea and actually made it happen.

It exists in the form of Finding Shepard (A Mass Effect Fangame). It may not be an official Mass Effect game, but it's an old school point-and-click adventure game nonetheless, put together by a fan of Bioware's awesome series.

Finding Shepard takes place after the conclusion of Mass Effect 3, in which Jack has to find a way to the Citadel to rescue Commander Shepard. The events in the game follow the "Destroy" ending, and presumably portray Jack as Shepard's love interest.

But before she can set off on her quest, she must first escape house arrest after having punched Admiral Hackett in the face. It's just the sort of thing Jack would do.

Miranda, Wrex, and Kasumi are also said to be part of the game, which remains a work in progress.

Here's a few screenshots:
