Since Bruce Straley will not be joining Neil Druckmann in working on The Last of Us Part II, this left a big question mark over who would join forces with Druckmann to help bring the game to life.
Druckmann has put this question to bed when he announced today on twitter that”Halley’s my kickass co-writer.”. This is reference to Westworld writer Halley Gross. Gross has written two Westworld episodes: “Trompe L’Oeil” and “The Adversary,”. Gross has also worked as a story editors from other Westworld episodes such as “The Stray” and “Chestnut.”
“Can’t wait to share more of the story with y’all. Spoiler alert: it’s intense.” said Druckmann in his excitement over his new co-writer and let’s hope so because there are already high expectations.
