Fans of the BlazBlue series of fighting games now have a new game to look forward to. The developers at Arc System Works have just announced a new addition to the series titled BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma.

The wheel of fate turns once again with the latest game, which sees the return of old characters and the inclusion of three new ones who battle in all new environments. The new characters include Bullet, Amane Nishiki, and Azrael. It goes without saying that the animation looks fantastic as always.

It's set for release in Japan this Winter in arcades. Previous BlazBlue titles have been released as console and handheld games, so there's good reason to hope Chronophantasma will follow suit.

Aside from BlazBlue, Arc System Works is currently developing Persona 4 Arena, which is slated for release on consoles this year.
