The internet is abuzz today about the newly announced live-action Halo series, Forward Unto Dawn. The web show will premiere a month prior to the game's launch and will offer a plethora of extra content centered around the Halo universe.
In this nineteen minute video, the cast and crew of the series talk about what it means to be involved in such a prestigious project and what they hope to convey through the plot. Although Master Chief will not be the main character in Forward, he will be making an appearance in some impressive armor. Gamers who were infinitely frustrated by the ending of Halo 3 will have some closure with this series.
The Halo universe has always had a very robust backstory, with one of the greatest novel series a game has ever seen, and it seems that tradition will continue in Forward Unto Dawn.
Halo 4 is slated for release on November 6, 2012 for the Xbox 360.
