New Live-Action Trailer Shows Dishonored 2 is Ready to Go

Dishonored told the story of Corvo Attano on his quest for vengeance against those who assassinated the Empress. He donned a mask of gold and struck out into the city of Dunwall to make things right in a world that went terribly wrong.

In Dishonored 2, the fight begins anew.

This is a live-action trailer, so it uses real actors and people instead of game footage. But in this case, the final video here seems to integrate the game world and our world together. We get to see an accurate depiction of the events that transpire with the plot – a now adult Emily Kaldwin and Corvo are ousted from Dunwall after Delilah takes the throne for herself, and the duo are forced to flee to Karnaca in order to make sense of it all. Much like her father, Emily has acquired powers from beyond reality. She can become a shadow creature that tears through enemy patrols seamlessly, and link the fates of multiple beings together and take them out in one deafening blow. It’s a mirror of the same sort of revenge story that Dishonored had, but extended upon to a new generation.
