After watching the new Magicka trailer, I might be laughing on the outside, but I'm crying on the inside. When the Stearlers Wheel hit "Stuck in the Middle with You" starts playing on the radio, you have to know you're in for a good time. The direct parody of the iconic Reservoir Dogs scene replayed with two dudes in magic robes is too much to handle.
Although nothing is really shown about the new expansion, The Other Side of the Coin, you can just sit back and revel in Paradox Interactive's amazing sense of humor. The video is cleverly done and completely derivative, appealing to everyone – Tarantino fan or not.
In The Other Side of the Coin, players will have the chance to see how good it is to be so, so bad. The video is meant to depict a scene between a Magicka magician who has found himself in a very sticky situation with one of Alucart's necromancers – playable in this expansion. The video isn't as graphic as the piece it is parodying, but it might bring back some cring-worthy memories.
