New Resident 6 Screens Revealed

July 9, 2012 by Lana Polansky

Images show off Merceneries and Zombie-Tossing Modes.

Gameinformer brings us eight pretty gory, pretty damn cool exclusive screens from the upcoming Resident Evil 6. Other than the impressive visuals, a few gameplay features may possibly be gleaned from the screens.

For one, the screens suggest that players will have the ability to throw enemies at other enemies as decomposing projectiles. Other little hints are dropped toward game settings and plot and gameplay modes, not to mention weapons, attacks and new enemy permutations (in the image above, something weird is going on with that J'avo). Finally, one screen even illustrates the four-player co-op promised by Capcom.

Resident Evil 6 is set for release on October 2 on Xbox 360, PC and PS3.

See the other seven screens here.
